BOROSILICATE GLASS

This heat-resistant glass is mainly known for its durability. It contains borox trioxide which results in a very low thermal expansion, which means it will not break under extreme temperature changes. Borosilicate glass is often associated with Pyrex, a well-known brand of glass bakeware.
